the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be suspending on Sunday bus services which ferry foreign workers from their dormitories to Little India ...

But comes 11 pm on Sunday, there will be at least 15,000 drunk Ah Nehs inside the trains heading back to their dorms..

A recipe for another disaster.. This time the drunk Ah Nehs will overturn the train carriages..

Bad move to stop private bus services, imo. Such services 'saved' Singaporeans from unpleasant incidents with these FTs

hehe.... this coming weekend will be very interesting. instead of ppl living along NE line suffer having to take public transport with the ah nehs, the whole singapore will suffer together. it will make many charbos unhappy being a close prosmity with ah neh's BO and beer stench. dont u love pap for that. hahaha.....

unlike admiral halsey, i didnt experience commuting in those $2 bus with ah nehs but me and thousands of nsfs who served in gedong, tengah, 4sir camps during the 90s knew what it like to squeeze in a sbs bus for at least 1/2 hr from CCK MRT to their dorms in Ama Keng. Every sunday book in must suffer BO, the worst was when the bloody bus got lao pok aircon system. i cannot remember the bus number, i think it 175, waiting time at least 20min, start from kranji jetty and loop at bukit timah just before mindef. ah nehs dont respect personal space and basically had to elbow the ah nehs just to get in the bus outside CCK MRT.

This involves two bus associations -- the Singapore School Transport Association and the Singapore School and Private Hire Bus Owners' Association -- which in total provide 25 bus services plying those routes.

Going forward, it will assess if there is a need to suspend or scale back these bus services.

LTA said it has bus and train services on standby to accommodate crowds that wish to travel to Little India this weekend.

Inform & lock all your women, daughters & girlfriends from December 14 to 15....& keep them off, Outram Station, where there is the interchange to NE Line to Little India Station, Dhoby Ghaut, interchange station from NS line, Serangoon Station, Interchange to Little India Station....they can not go far, Jurong East Station & Vicinity, Boon Lay Station & Vicinity, Pioneer Station & Vicinity...Jurong West Area..where you can find SENG SHIONG...

You do have my sympathy...I have been an "offisite" traveler in SINgapore, visiting & experiencing places in SINgapore, many of you, would never would have visited or want to. I have used 175 before & it is slightly better now, & have traveled in buses packed with people, in which the United Nations would have been proud of...Africans, Ah Tiong's, Vietnamese, Myanmar, Malaysians, Indians, Bangladeshi's...I think they were RUSSIAN women...a route I would not mention...& this is in SINgapore.

It is interesting to get to know, how, the underbelly of society, in which we pretend not to noticed or see...I go sit & eat in coffees hops & browse in their mini marts...selling produces & food in which the Myanmar people, Thai & Cambodians, Chinese people( from CHINA), Indians, the Bangladeshi etc..would buy & savor the smell, taste the food..the whatever... even their beers.

How would these people plan, if they have not gone down to the 'earth', to grovel, smell or even travel like packed sardines...or drink beers with them, eat with them or curse the day with them...how well they know about riots, then?

All they do is to once again treat the symptom & shove the diseases one side & hope it will not appear again...we have "IVORY TOWER" people, who have never seen their own country!...other than Orchard Rd, MBS, Sentosa etc..

It is the fault of a certain percentage people...let us move on!
