I have traveled in them buses before, not only from Terusan Area, other parts of the Jurong areas, Benoi, Pioneer, Tuas, the olf Jurong
Industrial Area & many other areas

Little Red dot is so small, there is NO PLACE where you won't see any South Asian, Myanmar national, Thai, pinoy, PRC etc.

The Peninsular area remind me of the early days of the "little Thailand", where it started at "ang teng bei tow" AKA Clifford Pier...with the money, women, drinks, cigarettes & drugs too, but not so open.

The SPF certainly have their hand full, with so many enclaves sprouting all over the island...

The real reason why private bus services are halted is because the bus associations could not come to agreement with the police and the LTA over the protection given to the bus drivers and the time keepers.

The bus association threaten to boycott Little India. The government, rather than lose face, took the pre-emptive step of suspending private bus services until things cool down. The govt is desperately hoping that after this week, the bus drivers and time keepers would be less afraid and more willing to resume private bus services.
