First thing I did after getting my part time pay was to head to Katong Shopping Centre and bought the Championship Manager PC game.. That was in 1995..

Then, its kind of a ritual every year to buy the latest edition of Championship Manager.. Last one bought was for the 2003-04 season..

I genuinely thank the creators of the game for giving me many enjoyable sleepless nights inside my bedroom.. Championship Manager was one of the few games that made me forget about watching porns in the Internet..

I used to stand outside shops selling video games and complete the game without any cheat codes.

A crowd would gather to watch me play and cheer me on.

Those were the days... the kids gathered around a tv outside the shop to play games.

I've witnessed marathon sessions of Mario Bros 3 at a shop in Bukit Timah Shopping Centre. Back then, it was a mini suburb Mecca for video/computer gamers. Too bad it has been reduced to a dumping ground for maid agencies these days.

I loved castlevania starring alucard on the ps1 before that i played castlevania on super nintendo.


Luckily no one talked about super old classics like pacman.

I went from PS to xbox instead of ps2.. worst choice ever. now I have a ps3 but barely switch it on nowadays.
