if it is the other way round, would people whack WP or simply want NSP to give up the constituency ? I think in the end, for the opposition supporters generally, it has nothing to do with honoring one's words and no flip-flop of issues, they just want the stronger opposition party which has the better chance of winning to contest any constituency.

Opposition voters are practical people as seen in PE BE 2013.
