The UMNO head plays deeper dirty trick this round. Najib knew that a guilty verdict against Anwar in Sodomy II burns BN at ballot boxes, as that triggers anger since Anwar was previously convicted and then over-turned in Sodomy I case. So Najib pulled the Gun Behind Horse 马後炮 move. Keep his ballot boxes away from fire first, with the acquittal and appeal for a later conviction. This can come After the poll and it means :

• Hanging the sword over PKR's head & the voters to worry about Anwar being in prison after poll instead of Parliament / Cabinet. No confident for a stable power change.
• Cover their ass again just alike the ISA arrest after Reformasi in case oppositions took very aggressive moves. Sabotage the new government if BN lost power, disqualify their main leader.
• Psychological game, get PKR excited and over-confident and off guard before the poll, then Najib can have better chance to pull some other dirty tricks.
• Get BN dogs to wake up and work real hard, otherwise they fucking idol in this important fight.
