Mrt breakdown again at redhill mrt !!

Lack of investment in infrastructure during her time as CEO which are causing all the problems now?
What SMRT need is someone like Mike Brown or Tim O'Toole who used to run London Underground in the UK. I think they've managed some real improvements in service and reliability on the network recently. Jay Walder who runs the MTR in Hong Kong is another strong candidate.

Employ people with genuine land transport experience not ex-SAF paper generals.

I have no idea who these people are, but I'm sure you do and they will most certainly be useful to an organisation which certainly needs every bit of help they can get.

The current management has not been there long. They can and should do better, but to be fair, they haven't had the time.
The previous management led by Saw has to take most of the responsibility, but of course we know why she won't, because she is backed by "exceptional" people.

Not only lacking investment in infrastructure, won't be surprising if their maintenance strategy was not as stringent as it should have been.
Several months before she was errrr, ahem, asked to leave, I already pointed out in this forum the unusually large number of management movement which was reported in the stock exchange website. It now appears that even some of her management team then couldn't agree with the way they were operating.

She's now leading a happy life, do nothing much, shopping. Peasants die their business.

She is now the CEO of listed company Auric Pacific, which manufactures Sunshine bread, among other activities.

I am now buying other brands like Gardenia and small bakery bread regularly. ;)

maybe liu tuck yew want to step down to appease the angry commuters?

Ummm.... error.....
U all dun tell me this thread is not bumped from the earlier thread. Got new breakdown?

And fucking shameless bitch ask why we angry.

5 breakdowns in Janaury 2014, still got 11 months to go. World class transport, unsurpassed transport experience and we have PTC,LTA and SMRT holding hands to make it (breakdowns) happen, with 1.1bil from govt to boot. How much tax monies were spend on COI (wayang) last year?
