Most Singaporeans deserve to be jobless and poor.
Or at least 61% of them do.
Because they have zero foresight and always take the path of maximum self interest at the balloting box.
They voted for shelter walkways and lift upgrades and they all just got what they voted for (and also didn't) .
Singaporeans never voted for good government and with that, good jobs, they mostly only voted selfishly to be first in line for flat upgrading and shealtered walkways to be built by cheap labour foreign construction workers.
Now Sinkies get their deserved karma and foreigners have taken over most Singaporean jobs, leaving Singaporeans redundant and poor.
When PAP bullied political opponents and turned opposition constituencies to slums, the rest of Singapore cheered because then they would get lift upgrading and sheltered walkways first.
Now the PAP continues to run roughshod over the opposition and calls their supporters 'freeloaders', just to cover up PAP screw ups on the employment front, when all along the opposition is systematically disadvantaged by misuse by PAP of AGC powers, the PA as a politics based association to promote PAP partisan interest, etc etc.

Many Singaporeans now have problems finding good jobs because they voted for gangster like incompetent politicians whose only skill is in keeping any opposition out of Parliament using the GRC system of elections and now create a monolithic , Sclerotic old boys club cabinet, totally unable to think out of the box.
Just like the Arab who allowed the camels nose into the tent, Singaporeans who allowed PAP to monopolise parliament and reward their own kind are now the most susceptible to being replaced with machines and cheap foreigner labour because they sacrificed their imagination to cut the queue as voting PAP allowed and free loaded on what was supposed to be shared equally amongst all constituencies but the opposition constituencies were ultimately deprived of.
These spineless cheapskates and free loaders who have always voted PAP out of selfish self interest and material wants against the needs of others, deserve the plight they are in now.
