Legend Of Condor Heroes has been enacted on TV drama series at least two rounds already from 1980s to 2000s. However, it'd been always the Back Volume beginning with the origins of Guo Jing and Yang Guo.

The full novel comprises two volumes, with the Front Volume beginning with the origins of Wang Chongyang, Huang Yaoshi, Ouyang Feng, Duan Zhengchun and Hong Qigong culminating at Huangshan Lunjian. How come TV drama series producers never seem want to do that part?

That's why the Senile Retard martial arts so good. Later after Wang Chongyang won, he went Dali kingdom to teach King Duan the Yiyangzhi, cause he think he's a righteous man and the Senile Retard couldn't be trusted to upkeep the skill and legacy.

Tian Long Ba Bu was set in the Northern Song dynasty. How could one tell? Among other things, the series devoted hundreds of pages to the Khitan Empire. Even Daozong emperor (i.e. Yelu Hongji, 1032–1101), was himself a substantial character — Qiao Feng served as his governor of the Southern Chancellery (Nan Yuan Da Wang).

Shen Diao Xia Lu was set in the time when the Southern Song dynasty was coming to an end. How could one tell? Mongke Khan (1209–1259), Genghis Khan's grandson, was then the Emperor of the Mongolian Empire in the story. In fact, the final battle of the novel culminated with Yang Guo killing Mongke with a rock.

The story in Tian Long occurred at least a hundred years <b>before</b> the story in Shen Diao.

Nope. The Mongols formed an alliance with Song to fight the Jurchens &mdash; these were the ancestors of Manchurians who later founded the Qing Dynasty.

At that time the Khitan Empire had long been annihilated by an earlier alliance between Song and Jurchens. The only Khitans mentioned in She Diao and Shen Diao were all on the side of Song (Yelu Qi, Yelu Yan) or Mongol (Yelu Chucai, a genuine historical figure).

Jin Yong has been remarkably accurate when it comes to historical details.

Jin Yong was never historical accurate.

Zhu Yuanzhang (White Lotus sect) became Ming sect and Quanzhen priest Qiu Chuji who died same year as Genghis Khan in 1227 was in The Return of the Condor Heroes story in 1267, 40 years later.
