Only retard Sinkies believe they can get Michelin food at hawker centre price.
The butch just wanted to say invisible sledgehammera sledgehammer is impercipient anyway. the conjointment is superfluous as the sledgehammer is just a brutish tool devoid of (in)sight and thought. a less superfluous conjointment may suggest something like an impercipient cook using an axe to slice fishcake instead of purposing a ginsu knife. the food critic attempted to impress with highfalutin adjectives but lacked the logical essence and relevance that were supposed to accompany the intended pomposity.
really chio kar peng at her leeview, sibei tok kong and critical!View attachment 203625
Unlubed, staid and woefully bereft of wok hei, this limp-wristed twaddle happened because some cretin took an impercipient sledgehammer to culinary orthodoxy. Cockles were rubbery, prawns deader than dead, noodles stodgy, veggies.....oh seriously whatever. So much for toadying to the Health Promotion Board.

everyone knows what a sledgehammer is, but few can associate a blunt object with a sentient perceptive being. that’s the crux. the few: sinkies going all out to bend and blend engrish with the most impossible verbose connections. only in sg."Impercipient sledgehammer"? The term does not make sense to me. Is there an Engrish scholar out there who can explain what exactly the author is trying to say. Perhaps @Claire can help.
I doubt Claire thinks its verbose, given her ultra vast vocabulary. Ordinary uninitiated Sinkies perhaps, but probably not her.everyone knows what a sledgehammer is, but few can associate a blunt object with a sentient perceptive being. that’s the crux. the few: sinkies going all out to bend and blend engrish with the most impossible verbose connections. only in sg.
can't disagreeOne look at the pic, ik it lacks of wok hei. 99.9% mass fried and I mean like cooking 5-6 portions at once. Not like 2-3 portions still ok
Tyre company rating food is a total joke lorOnly retard Sinkies believe they can get Michelin food at hawker centre price.
The approach to preparing this char kway teow is overly strong, but lacks finesse in that it does not cater to the preference of most diners looking for a robust plate of CKT."Impercipient" = Lacking perception.
A sledgehammer's job is to pulverise, destroy, reduce to rubble etc. Where does the "perception" come into play? Does the lack of perception of the said sledgehammer mean it missed the mark? If that is the case culinary orthodoxy will remain largely intact and the result should bear some resemblance of decency.
