I have not seen any mee rebus that looks anything like hokkien mee.
Some stalls made it too sweet.
It should be savoury.
 
Hokkiens are beacons to the world whether people know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not indeed.
Just like I am a virgin with annulled marriage whether people know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not indeed.
 
The noodles used in certain hokkien mee more thick.
Mee hailam uses the same noodles. Malays call it mee kuning.
