You reckon he's worth £30m??? He only joined Villarreal for £4.5m last year.

This is another reason why a football director is needed. Methinks the resistance to this idea is partly because Man Utd is not a selling club, the other being the relationship between football director and manager.

The most interesting bit about the transfers thus far has got to be Vincent Janssen's move to Spurs. He's a physical player who will adapt to the premiear league quite easily. It will take the pressure off Kane for sure. Cost-12 million pounds.

Nani stunner! Mourinho wants him back at Man Utd

Fenerbahce ace Nani is being linked with a shock return to Manchester United.

Turkish outlet DHA says Jose Mourinho is keen to re-sign the 29-year-old as he conducts an overhaul of the squad he inherited from Louis van Gaal.

Nani has a £6.3m release clause in his contract but the Red Devils are not prepared to pay that much for their former player.

And he has apparently agreed personal terms in case United do follow through with their interest.

Nani left Old Trafford permanently last summer, joining Fenerbahce after eight seasons in England.
