Harian Metro reported that a man chased his own mother out of their house in Kampung Malau, Jitra, Kedah, after a tiff over his lover.
The man, in his 30s, had chased his mother out after his girlfriend moved in with him last week, forcing the woman to live with a neighbour.
The mother was afraid to move back into the house after her son threatened her.
The man, whose divorce case had yet to be finalised, was caught during a khalwat raid by the Kubang Pasu district religious authorities.
Sources said the religious authorities knocked on the door of the house for 20 minutes before finally forcing their way in and finding the man in the buff, pretending to be asleep together with his girlfriend.
