Chitchat Mahathir's favourite foreign country happens to be my beloved Japan! haha

Is Japan also your favourite foreign country?

  • No, simply because I am VERY ANTI-Japan!

And in my opinion, that was probably one of the main reasons he was honoured with:

wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_Rising_Sun#1st_Class,_Grand_Cordon

Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu, Mahathir-sama!

By the way, when Mahathir became the Prime Minister of Malaysia for the first time in 1981, one of my all-time favourite J-pop songs was also released that year:
ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/チェリーブラッサム (Cherii burassamu, which obviously means "Cherry blossom")
by one of my all-time favourite female J-pop singing idols, i.e. the great, lovely, adorable, cute and sweet:
ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/松田 聖子
wikipedia.org/wiki/Matsuda Seiko
Japan's top singing idol during the first half of the 1980s!

Yes, Seiko Matsuda, one of my favourites. My other Jap favourite is Naoko Kawaii, but heard that she had been played out by that bloody playboy Jackie Chan before. I still have some of the LP records (by Denon) of Seiko Matsuda and Naoko Kawaii, both of whom are from the same era.

How about the pointy-chin Kyoko Koizumi ?
Many thanks for replying again!
And yes, I would rank:
ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/小泉 今日子
wikipedia.org/wiki/Koizumi Kyoko
among my top ten female J-pop singing idols during the 1980s!

it's an old tradition in nippon for women to lift up their kimonos in the streets and shit away. farmers would scoop up the scat and use it for fertilizer. shit still happens these days. nothing goes to waste.
Dear @eatshitndie, many belated thanks again for gracing another humble thread of mine!

And I hope those farmers do not eat the shit!

According to:
goingplacesmagazine.com/exclusive-rock-star-prime-minister-tun-dr-mahathir-mohamad

the "best place" Mahathir has "been for a vacation" is:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukuoka
the capital city of:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukuoka_Prefecture
which is the prefecture where my beloved Matsuda Seiko was born and raised in!
And to be more precise, she was born and raised in:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurume
