選舉倒數，不少地方都在舉辦政見發表會，但有很多有「特別」亮點，其中金門縣長候選人中，有人唱心經，有人因為喉嚨開刀，無法出聲，只能演默劇；另外在苗栗縣議員政見發表會中，會場擺了96張聽眾席，但只有1名觀眾，工作人員比聽眾多出至少25倍，讓候選人抱怨好孤單；不過有人則是目光焦點，虎尾鎮長候選人，化身台灣水牛，一開場就用牛叫三聲，讓現場觀眾全笑翻。

虎尾鎮長候選人走下車，一身簡便裝扮。記者：「這麼簡單嗎？」記者話才剛講完，陳獻堂倒出頭套、衣服，開始變裝。灰色水牛裝加上頭套，瞬間化身台灣水牛，象徵端出牛肉。

「哞～哞～哞～」準備大手板，走上台政見發表，講到激動處，虎尾鎮鎮長候選人陳獻堂表示，「沒飯好吃，就吃草，也沒關係，這就是辛苦人，辛苦人啊～」陳獻堂作勢哽咽，最後乾脆自己喊凍蒜，「陳獻堂，凍蒜！陳獻堂，凍蒜！」

除了他，金門縣長6搶1同樣精彩，候選人一上場，先開唱心經，金門縣長候選人洪志恒：「觀自在菩薩。」另一名唯一一個女性參選人，一上台…一張張手卡接連替換，原來，是她喉嚨開刀沒辦法出聲，乾脆把政見做成手板呈現，不過鏡頭轉到苗栗，可就沒有這麼熱鬧。

苗栗縣議員候選人潘子婷說，「保存文化，在地扎根。」苗栗縣議員第四選區，候選人台上端出政見，但下面觀眾席，只有一位聽眾。聽眾：「早上也只有一個觀眾，那個人通知我下午來聽。」潘子婷說「有點孤單，真的很孤單。」

仔細看看，旁邊工作人員13個，還有刑警站崗，一共出動10名員警，加上候選人助理幫忙錄影，但96張椅子空蕩蕩，上下午政見發表會都只有1名聽眾，半小時之內就結束，也讓候選人抱怨，這真的是最孤單的政見發表會。
