"Changing the electorate" is exactly what the PAP is doing. They realised more than 10 years ago that the existing bunch were pretty useless so they've been busy importing a new electorate to take over from you guys.

By 2016, this new bunch of voters who are smarter, tougher and more hardworking will be firmly entrenched. They're also in a much better position to appreciate how good the PAP actually is.

LKY is a banana. He's pure white on the inside but he's stuck in a Chinese skin. I admire him because he always talks sense even though what he says might not be palatable to dumb people and those who don't have a good work ethic.

In other countries, it's easier to change leadership. In Singapore, it's easier to change the electorate simply because Singaporeans are so docile. They're very strident in internet forums and blogs but in real life, they're all pussycats.

Good point.

LHL has realised his folly and has instructed the PAP to change. But I think it is a little too little and a little too late for LHL and the pap. It's the people who holds the power, not the pap

Hardworking - thinking of how to fix oppositions days and nights? Redrawing GRC boundaries with occupants personal data & informations from HDB?
Intelligent - the ability to fool the citizens by increasing tax to help the poor? Increasing civil servants and ministers pay to eradicate corruptions?
Dedicated - to increasing Singapore's GDP at all expense and accumulating reserve? Submissive to his wife and father?
