Agree with you. It's already a raw nerve, and they are playing with fire if they think they can sugar coat everything and sweep the dust under the carpet.

The PAP is going to be wrong if they think all this "good news" helps.

People who think they are in the minority and not in the "in" majority will cast their vote the other way thinking that the PAP is electorally safe but needs a jolt. They also think they are the minority who did not benefit from the PAP and need not follow those who did.
