本月29日凌晨，高雄一名石姓男子，在旗山區的KTV喝飲酒歡唱後，請櫃檯人員幫忙叫計程車送友人返家，一名陳姓男大生剛好也叫了計程車，結果2派人馬因為計程車發生衝突，石男因此心生不滿，竟返家持槍並夥同友人陳姓男子、呂姓男子到場，對陳姓男大生的腹部連開2槍之後逃逸，陳姓男大生受傷後送醫宣告不治，警方逮捕犯案的3人後移送橋頭地檢署，檢方向法院聲請羈押禁見獲准，另外2人檢方諭令5萬元交保。

橋頭地院表示，石男於案發逃離現場，從旗山逃逸到高雄市區，認為他有逃亡之虞，且所述情節與共犯有出入，有事實足認有勾串共犯之虞，有羈押原因及必要，予以羈押並禁見。而石男當時開槍犯案後逃逸，當天上午9點多在律師陪同下，帶作案用的槍枝到旗山分局投案，他向警方供稱因為喝酒才會失控，槍枝、子彈是數年前幫陳姓姊夫（已死亡）代保管，警方認為其供詞避重就輕，將持續追查槍枝來源。
