The 50-year-old queued up at GV Grand to buy popcorn and no one mobbed or stopped to gawk at or question him.
The peaceful evening was in contrast to Jack's surprise appearance at Tiong Bahru Plaza on Saturday.
Some of the cast of Being Human were talking to a crowd of about 500 people there when the director appeared on stage, asking for forgiveness.
Many rushed towards the stage, whipped out their handphones or cameras and started taking pictures and recording his speech, reported Lianhe Wanbao.
While some in the crowd seemed touched, there were others who were less forgiving, according to Shin Min Daily News.
When Mark Lee asked the crowd to clap to show their appreciation for Jack, only about 10 people did so.

He added that he was very upset that he had been linked to 10 other women and called their accusations baseless.
Foyce told The New Paper that she "didn't reveal all the details of Jack's advances towards me six years ago" but declined to say exactly what he had done to her.
She also claimed she received three anonymous phone calls from a man, telling her to "shut up" or else "you will get it from me".
