There are 80% Sinkie cheena. Except for handful PG who speak dialect (but still cheena). The rest speak Mandarin. PAP need the 80% support. Its to their disadvantage if they go against their Motherland.
Dear
@whoami, many belated thanks to you too for your reply!
But unless I'm very mistaken, the
overwhelmingly vast majority (possibly as high as
96.9%) of "Sinkie
cheena"
women are pro-
US and/or pro-
UK and/or pro-
Canada and/or pro-
Australia and/or pro-
New Zealand and/or pro-
South Korea and/or pro-
Taiwan and/or pro-
Hong Kong; and even if they are
not very anti-PRC, they are certainly
not pro-PRC or they do
not like the PRC
more than they like those other countries, right?
And I dare say that at the last Sinkie GE:
wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Singaporean_general_election#Results_summary
at least
90% of all the
female
valid voters (which was roughly
45% of all the valid voters) voted for the
PAP and were also
anti-PRC at the same time; and they are probably
even more anti-PRC
this year!
I also dare say that at least
10% to 15% (possibly even 20%) of all those valid voters were Sinkie
men who voted for the
PAP and who were also
anti-PRC (at least
secretly in their hearts and minds), especially the
Malay and Indian Sinkie men; and I also
strongly suspect that
most of those
Chinese Sinkie men who are
pro-PAP and anti-PRC were born from the
late 19
70s onwards, i.e. they were in their
twenties or
thirties when they voted for the PAP five years ago in
2015.
Even among the
Opposition voters, I think it should be
very safe to say that at least
some of them (both
male and female and also both
Chinese and non-Chinese) are also
anti-PRC, such as our dear
@laksaboy!
Therefore, among all
adult Sinkies (
including the "new" citizens),
at most 40% to 45% (possibly even 35%) of them are
pro-PRC and
nearly all of them are
Chinese Sinkie
men, who are:
1. either
Opposition voters
2. or
PAP voters who were born during the 19
70s
or earlier, especially the
"Baby boomers" and
their fathers.
Finally, I know
I initially voted "I don't know what to say..."; but today,
I finally know what to say!
