Greed keeps us focused on what we do not have, and blinds us to all that we already have. Greed guarantees that no matter how much we acquire, it will never be enough. Building a society or a life based on greed is a recipe for dissatisfaction, plain and simple.

the ridiculous COE is very expensive. in fact the most meaningless and expensive in the world for a lousy cert to buy a vehicle here in Singapore. that bloody cert is now very much more expensive than the actual cost of the car itself.

COE. what does it suppose to be or do? the jams are still piling up. i can only think one entity that benefits the most from this sting. it's none other than Greed or in another name, the pap. :(

The COE, just like the CPF, HDB, ERP, etc play a very big part to suck up almost all available liquidity in Singapore. It makes the rats guai guai keep on running on the wheels, day after day, night after night, endlessly.....these will also make the rats forget about democracy, freedom, civil mindedness, morals and even their sense of decency, filial piety, etc in the relenless pursuit of money, money and more money in order to maintain some semblance of living.

So very sad, a supposedly first world country saddled with first world costs but, third world living standards and third world practices.:confused::p
