Interview with residents: only 12% heard of Tan Kin Lian

Mr Tan Kin Lian revealed his political ambitions in a Sunday Times’ interview last week when he said that he will run for the elected President or MP if his supporters are able to obtain 100,000 signatures in support of his bid.

How many Singaporeans have heard of Mr Tan’s name ? What is their impression of him ? We survey 100 Singaporeans from 3 different constituencies - Yishun Ave 11, Geylang East Central and Bugis (Laselle) to find out.

This TKL is a clown. He must know what he really wants to do. If he wants to work for people, be a President for what.

This is my assessment of him
100,000 people who petition for him, doesn't mean this 100,000 will vote for him.

And compare him with Wee Khim Wee, Ong Teng Cheong, Nathan, TKL wants to be President, fighting for the people, C'mon, he should be better off being an MP where he can serve the people better.

ppl who had work in the insurance industry shd know him well, in fact many car owner who had brought NTUC car insurance heard of his name. Even my wife who seldom read care about local poltical scene had also know about him. In fact she had nothing good to say about him, only curse his policies while he was still the CEO of NTUC. hahaha... another disgruntled car owner.
