A genie offered an NUS professor 1 wish out of 3: to be the richest, most handsome or wisest man on earth? The prof requested to be the wisest man in the world. After his wish was granted, his students asked him to say something really enlightening. The prof replied: "I should have taken the money!" Which of these 3 wishes would you have chosen?

1) Good health forever
2) Freedom forever
3) A magic wand that enables only me to wish for anything forever

If you choose to be the wisest man on earth, wouldn't that mean that you will almost always make the best possible decision to benefit yourself and your loved ones? That would make you as rich, healthy and happy as possible for as long as possible on this earth.

If you only have one choice - to be the richest is always the best choice.

When you are richest, you are the most powerful and you can demolish all your enemies with the stroke of a pen. You can get the best security, can even even buy over a country with you own private army LOL, and can always employ the wisest to work under you to give you best advice and with medical tech, you can have the best medical care and even mod your face til look like Andy Lau.

If you are not wise, you will probably lose all or most of your money.

Being 'wise' is completely useless when you have no money LOL. Being richest, you can even buy wisdom, best gadgets to even implant a farking AI chip with all knowledge of the world to make the best decisions - financial or otherwise. Money can even make even a ghost turn the grindstone LOL.

End of day, it's all about the money.

Wish I have unlimited wishes ... :o-o:
If I had only one wish, I would ask for enough money to buy anything that I desire. That would be even better than asking for a billion dollars which may be used up before I pass away. So if I could only choose one of those 3 wishes, I would ask to be the richest man in the world. It would be extremely difficult to finish spending more money than the $371 billion that Elon Musk possesses.

If I am the wisest man in the world, I cannot be penniless. I would be wise enough to make millions or even billions of dollars through my work and/or investments.

Harvard does not choose the brightest students into its college.
They choose those they think will be the most successful.
So if you are from rich wealthy family, you are in.
Best sportsmen. inside.
Maths genius. Maybe. May end up as lecturer only. Fail.
Unless potential to create a upscale AI algorithm and become billionaire. Pass.

Being wise is far better than being intelligent. The wise person knows the difference between right and wrong, so he always makes the right decision.

That's the assumption. Of course being 'wisest' means you are likely going to be richer than the average folks but it still pales in comparison to start off being the richest first. Everything on earth has a price. The issue is always whether you have enough money to obtain them.

There is no definition that says being wisest guarantees that you can be rich and become a billionaire as you still have to work your way up to become rich back to square one, a total waste of time.

Elon Musk is definitely not the wisest with the highest IQ/EQ but he is the richest man on earth and this farking guy can even launch a rocket into space and to mars, not forgetting secretly farking beauties and rich heiress and having children without the need to get married as he can simply afford it LMAO.

So aiming to be the 'wisest' definitely is not the wisest choice when compared to being the richest first LOL.

There is a higher chance to turn even an average IQ person into the most powerful and one of the wisest on earth than the other way round as wisdom and knowledge can all be learned and acquire through wealth and influence LOL. So one no need to be the 'wisest' but just need to be on top of the food chain in wisdom with the greatest wealth is definitely better than to start off being the 'wisest' LOL.

With immense wealth comes power and authority which is ultimately the most important for maximum enjoyment in life.

It also explains why the PAP-Gov only cares about GDP GDP GDP, sucking maximum from the commoners to build up the highest reserves through all kinds of ranjiao taxes aiming to be the richest Gov in this region first to gain power and influence rather than being the 'wisest' first LOL.

That is why I mentioned earlier that if I had only one wish among those 3 wishes, I would ask to be the richest man in the world. It would be extremely difficult to finish spending more money than the $371 billion that Elon Musk possesses.

Hence if there is only one choice the ranking would be as follows:

1) Richest first - as you would easily become wise with the highest power and authority. This is assuming you are not a retard and have just an average IQ will do. Imagine Elon Musk can even get invited into the white house by Trump to head the Doge already speaks volumes about the power of wealth.

2) Wisest - but you will still need to struggle through the usual food chain to obtain wealth with no guarantee of becoming among the richest LOL.

3) Most handsome - Worst choice. A handsome face cannot worth much unless it comes with enough skills, qualification, resources, power and influence from money (again). Without money your farking handsome face is completely worthless. With enough wealth, women will flock to you in droves thinking you look like Andy Lau even if you look just average LOL.

South Korean actor Lee Min-Ho is actually not a very talented actor, but
he is worth more than US$26 million owing to his looks!

Immortal, money in a trust fund, absolute power

1) Health eternally
2) Live eternally
3) Wealthy eternally (or another 1000 wishes if allowed)

Not a good choice. Be careful of what you wished for. Having eternal health and live would soon become a nightmare without enough wealth, power and authority and you would wished you die earlier LOL.

Wealth should always comes first, then followed by the rest, whatever the fark that is, follow the PAP-Gov method is the best - GDP GDP GDP and suck maximum from citizens into the reserves to build more wealth first, rest then talk LOL.

A person who has eternal life on earth will have to witness the death of everyone of his loved ones. That would be a cruel fate indeed!

True, but even though not very talented he definitely have the basic acting skills. But having a handsome face has no guarantee of immense wealth. He is just one of the lucky ones. And WTF is $26M compared to Elon Musk's US$384 Billion LOL. In fact, for guys, having a very handsome face as a celebrity can sometimes be a curse as already happened in many countries, esp. in China, Korea etc. where they are targeted by enemies and antagonists resulting in some committing suicide etc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wealth_of_Elon_Musk
" Elon Musk is the wealthiest person in the world, with an estimated net worth of US$384 billion as of September 2025, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index,[1] and $480.2 billion according to Forbes,[2] primarily from his ownership stakes in Tesla and SpaceX. "
