I am driving and met with an accident. My car caught a raging fire, with me lock inside, unable to get out. The car is about to explode, would she attempt to risk her life to save me?
She said she defintely would not
She said it is pointless risking her life, with absolutely zero or very low chance of success, of getting me alive out of the car.
I don't know whether I am sad or happy with her response.
Sad because she wouldn't risk her life to save me, even if my chances of survival are miniscule.
Happy because she is being logical and know how to assess dangers and protect herself before helping others.
I still cannot reason out the happiness vs sadness in me.
My heart feels hurt by her practicality, although my head thinks she makes a wise decision.
What do you think? Any thoughts?
