I usually ride early mornings along East Coast Park or sometimes out to Seletar—less traffic and the views are decent. Got my bike insured through https://sundaysinsurance.co.uk/bicycle-insurance after a mate's got swiped outside a kopitiam. Didn't cost me much and it covers theft and damage, which helps me ride with less worry.
