Dulcolax is a stimulant laxative, while Lactulose is an osmotic laxative.

As such, Lactulose is recommended over Dulcolax for 2 reasons :

1) If your shit is dry as fuck (the leading cause of constipation), no amount of stimulants and colon contractions can help you shit, you'll still be constipated.

2) Stimulant laxatives will cause dependence, meaning once you start using them, you'll never be able to shit again without relying on them. In contrast, osmotic laxatives do not cause dependence. They just help you shit easier, but won't cause permanent changes to your body.

Buy a big 1L bottle (not the small 200ml bottle) of Lactulose (brand name Duphalac), pour out and drink a full small plastic cup (included with each bottle), followed by a full cup of water or any drink. Confirm plus chop you'll shit everything out within an hour or so.
