It’s was the v6 supercharged version so it has no growl The hardcore NA lovers hated it but it was good enough for me as it was nice for swift overtaking in local context.
The sutobahn is the reason why German automakers are one step ahead of the rest.
If they succumb to green movement that wanted speed restrictions, merc, bus etc will end up like other automakers. No more difference.
Driver education and strict enforcement too. You can drive at any speed in the unrestricted zones, but if you have an accident, you will automatically be at fault due to high speed. If you have any kind of accident at any speed, and it is your fault, your license is suspended until you complete mandatory driver reeducation classes. The lane discipline is amazing. None of this would work in any other country.
It really amuses me that a Samster will post a clip about the German autobahn but reference it to travelling on the NS highway!
The two expressways couldn't be more different!

I actually think it's the better choice for 90% of the time. It suits the character of Audi's better and has more instantaneous response. Enjoy your nice car!
