The little girl apparently climbed out of the living room window to take a 'look around'
A resident climbed out of an adjacent side window, broken open with bolt cutters, to support the little girl while she waited to be rescued
The rescue team eventually got access to the little girl from inside her apartment and got to work to free her from her position
Relief: She was pulled to safety by a team of emergency services crew
The little girl was heard crying by a neighbour who alerted the emergency services
A little girl whose head got trapped in window railings 70 metres high in a tower block has been rescued by firefighters
The five-year-old had climbed out of the living room window apparently because she wanted to take a 'look around'.
Footage shown by China's state broadcaster shows she had apparently managed to squeeze her body through the security bars on the outside of the window, but her head did not fit through.
In fact, her head being stuck may have prevented her from falling the 24 floors to the ground.
According to local media reports, the alarm was raised on Saturday by a neighbour who heard the little girl crying.
She had apparently been locked in on her own at her home, in Daye, Hubei province, central China.
Firefighters and police broke into the flat, while a local resident, suspended by a rope tied around his waist, climbed out of an adjacent window to help the child.
He put his arm around the child as she teetered on the edge of the railings, and wrapped a blanket behind her, to take some weight off her feet.
Her shoes were barely on anymore after standing for some time on the narrow rail, her head stuck and bent forward through the bars.
Emergency services eventually got access to the terrified little girl from a window close to where she was stuck. They used bolt cutters to free her before carefully pulling her back to safety.
I don't know what to say. Sinkie kids sure Hong Kan liao in this kind of scenario.
How she got out is actually a puzzle. Just take a closer look at the picture and you see the compressor is nearly blocking the opening of the grill. Either she climbed on top of the compressor to slip through or what....and if she did that, she is remarkably a spiderwoman in the making.

cant blame kids.they tend to do things not rational.but i know she will grow up very successful
but you have to admit, she is a bit crazy. like it is 24 storey high, do you know how high is that, when you look down, the first thing in your mind is not, mmmmm..... i want to climb out of the window to look outside. No... in fact 20% of human will be too scared to even look down.

I guessed maybe her parent is training her as acrobats.
