世界人才排名 港跌6位兼失亞洲榜首 林鄭:不灰心、要做得更好
瑞士洛桑管理學院(IMD)最新公布的《2018年IMD世界人才報告》,香港痛失亞洲榜首,被新加坡超前,而全球排名亦較2017年下跌6位,位列第18位。行政長官林鄭月娥直言「不會因此灰心」,更會被激勵「要做得更好」,又稱會投放更多資源以培育教育人才。
行政長官林鄭月娥今日(20日)早上出席行政會議前表示,不清楚有關報告收集及統計資料的時間,重申自己上任後重視培育人才,已在教育新投入83億元經常性款項撥款,她認為,全球都在競爭人才,尤其是創新及科技方面的人才,她稱「不會因此灰心」,更被激勵「要做得更好」,將投放更多資源加強學生創意。

另外,剛完成的亞太經濟合作組織(APEC,簡稱亞太經合組織)外訪的她表示,APEC屬她本人本月的第四次出訪,亦是2018年外訪尾聲,並透露將於下月將到北京進行年度述職。她稱自己上任以來已外訪逾30次,形容行政長官頻密外訪對香港有碑益,如開拓更多機遇、加強海內外聯繫等。她預計自己2019年的外訪程度將保持頻密。
