Does high payscale prevent government officials from accepting monetary bribes? This can never be proven since they will never lower their payscales to that level.

But there are things which CAN be proven.

Money enough.. but sex not enough! Have money cock itchy!

So what is PAP going to do about this??? If i adopt the logic PAP has all along adopted, PAP should forget about morality issue (which has always been the case) and adopt a pragmatic approach.

At one of the seminars, he was still grumbling that S'pore does not pay its ministers adequately who have to do a hard job. This was missed by many people. But the Old Fart actually said it and his facial expression while doing so was one who is still very unhappy that S'poreans had ignored his wisdom and so he has to continue nagging about it. So the 60% who thinks that PAP has changed its views and ways, better wake up. The PAP will never ever change as long as the Old Fart is still alive. And sadly for S'pore, he looks to be around for more years to come.

I agree on human greed is limitless.....so he extend his greed to get excitement from abusing his power. This kind of excitement which he cannot obtain from his financial power.

If you factor in the bonuses, it is no small change. In addition to normal bonus, there is performance bonus too. Could be 2 or 3 mths extra.

Why Singaporean nowadays getting immoral, because its the way our government educate us and cultivate a money/power hungry society.
There is a problem in our education system which PAP government refuse to acknowledge it all these years. They change our education minister every year which means that either the system is lousy and all the minister cannot do anything about it so kept changing or they think that no problem in that system so put who also nevermind.
They cultivate a society that parents only care about grades and which top schools their kids will get into, don't care anything about moral values.
No problem in our education system?? stop deceiving yourself!!! you can see so many top civil servants fall from grace....even principal and teachers involve in underage sex.
Education needs many years to see effect, so if there is still no revolution of our education system quick enough....you will see more social problem involving singaporean down the years and we will feel more ashame of ourself as a singaporean.
