鴻海董事長郭台銘與高雄市長韓國瑜是國民黨2020年大選的兩張王牌，在4月17日郭台銘宣布參選後，兩人民調從原先相差不多，逐步拉遠，郭台銘民調居於劣勢，國民黨又回到非韓不可的氣氛，但郭台銘這幾天積極重整、身段大翻轉，企圖心不得不讓人正視。相反地，民調一直維持領先的韓國瑜最近在市議會表現的不耐煩，恐怕是讓韓郭兩人社會看法有所翻轉的拐點。
郭選擇錯誤的姿勢登場
郭台銘在四月中旬出場，但出場的風貌十分不好，去嗆民進黨蕭美琴及美國在台協會台灣關係法四十周年研討會的主席等，加上其過去對政治不熟悉，包括從媽祖托夢等，想要拉近與民眾距離，但郭把這種民俗政治化，反顯政治裡的迷信、鬼神，這些都是政治裡能做不能說的事，郭卻公然搬上檯面。
台灣民眾雖然有宗教信仰，但並不期待政治領袖也是一個迷信者，而是一個理性決策者，是可以運用智慧和戰略判斷來治國，因為問鬼神，民眾就會自己問了，不需要請總統來問，郭台銘這樣做並不是政治上的親民，而讓自己身價掉價了，民調自然直直落。
議會質詢讓韓被看破手腳
韓國瑜則與郭台銘是相反的類型，韓國瑜具有草根性質，講話與基層民眾非常有共鳴，但他在高雄市長選舉裡，顯露的政策淺薄，是其非常大致命傷，但高雄市長選舉由於民眾對民進黨執政怨恨太深，於是以八十九萬票投給了韓國瑜。
但韓國瑜的考驗似乎才開始，高雄市議會的質詢，外界都認為韓國瑜對於市政是無知，毫無認真與用心，以至於連自己力推的自經區等內容都講不出來。可韓國瑜自己卻不這樣認為，從他後來對於其他民進黨議員質詢的態度來看，他心裡已經界定這些人是來找麻煩，他壓根就是懶得理這些人，他贏得高雄市長加上不跌的民調，讓他心懷傲氣，對於民主制度裡基本的監督機制不想理會。
問題在於，行政和立法部門的運行是民主的基本價值，民進黨找國民黨首長麻煩，國民黨立委為難民進黨政府的行政首長，不是天經地義嗎？韓國瑜憑什麼做了高雄市長而不耐煩議會的質詢？
民進黨市議員是在找麻煩質詢沒錯，但有沒有逾越分際社會自有公評，但韓國瑜若以市長之姿，每每表現出驕傲態度，社會自然也會有公評，不是民進黨可以左右社會中立選民的評價。何況，如果要進擊大位，一個不分藍綠的可以吸收中間選民的候選人才會是大贏家。
所以當郭台銘開始彎下身幫記者繫鞋帶時，韓國瑜還能高高在上嗎？郭台銘儘管這個繫鞋帶動作，有些太過刻意，跟他過去對新聞記者的態度相差十萬八千里，但總代表郭董參選的決心，及願意調整自己的開始。韓國瑜曾經在高雄市展現過這種企圖心，如今呢？
民進黨應拋棄舊時代的思維
民進黨亦是如此，為了諷刺韓國瑜，總統和行政院長在總統府演了一場喝茶的戲，結果被業者罵根本不懂台灣茶的優勢，台灣茶的優勢在於手搖杯，而不是老人茶，行政單位真的了解產業，真的懂潮流嗎？就像最近蘇貞昌推出禁止開放新興菸品聲援活動，完全不細究新舊菸品對人身健康的危害，只是一味趨近傳統保守勢力。這樣的行政單位有進步嗎？
當然，對國民黨來說，最好就是能將韓郭兩人合一合重組成一個人，有個韓國瑜的好口才跟郭台銘的內容，但世事本就很難兩全，郭台銘還是郭台銘，韓國瑜還是韓國瑜，只是誰能進化得快，誰就能取得大位。民進黨者亦如是！
