Cabbies ignore long queue at taxi stand
ON MONDAY at about 8.30pm, my mother, my wife and I were waiting at the taxi stand in Serangoon Road, outside Serangoon Plaza. We noticed taxi drivers dropping passengers just before the taxi stand and allowing other passengers to get into the taxis.
As a result, many people at the taxi stand - there was a long queue - either abandoned the queue to look for alternatives or even worse, rushed to where the taxi drivers were dropping their passengers.
This just made me wonder about the usefulness of this taxi stand. Cabbies need to be warned against continuing this practice. Perhaps an official representing the taxi companies could monitor the situation at the taxi stand during peak hours.

All men equal before Heavens. Taxi drivers are just being choosy.

Probably they dont want Indian passengers. I have seen taxi drivers simply putting on busy sign or change shift sign to avoid passengers. After all Mahathir is not totally wrong.

Most of these taxi drivers are scums and bad hats. Their own priority comes before passengers.
