For some people inc. those in this forum and in Singapore, this whole Jap vs China lameness is more of a Racial thing and that is Scary.

To tell you the truth it's also apparent in other places. Take the nazis. Even today they are still made to feel guilty about it. I have always believed in not lettting the hatred spill over to the next generation. If my mom can forgive the Malays (who have yet to apologise), why can't I forgive the Japanese? Furthermore, I was born many years after the Japanese surrendered. In the past, I had also thought, Japan is fucked up, bunch of assholes who won't apologise, etc. But I realise that all these are just politicians trumpeting their own cause.
