but they were against the brits who regained power in malaya after amerika kicked the japs out of ww2. out of that came the insurgency which was mostly supported by chinks, kmt and mcp alike despite differing ideologies. that led to more deaths and tragedy, and a distrust of chinks by the majority malay population.I had clan members and family in Pahang beheaded by the Japs, it it's any consolation to you. And sorry to disappoint you, my grandpa and dad never joined the MCP... their loyalty was always to the Motherland and its ultimate reunification, not to the MCP or CCP.
