Game over for Newstead, owes debt of more than $60 million including $1.6 million worth of staff salaries

Are bankrupted owners of Adanced Gravis part of the reasons for the financial problems? Did OA released the twice bankrupt guy????

I bought my first laptop (Fujitsu) from them very long ago and still remember the staff was like one of my " hokkien peng".
Very rough type and hokkien speaking and after that I never go back again.
I hated the sight of these " hokkien peng" going about saying "thia bo" (cannot understand) during NS/Reservist and no way am I going to patronise shops that employ them to service clients!

You didn't know what you were looking for, you went it & yet, you bought your laptop from a 'hokkien peng' sales person? somewhere along the line, some translation is lost!?

It was during some IT Fair at the ground floor lobby and their price was the cheapest for Fujitsu (recommend by a friend as the most robust). I asked a girl and was then directed to this hokkien peng to collect the laptop and pay.

Sizzlers also closed.

Looks like Tony Roma's restaurant at Suntec has also closed for good since Jan 2019.

It was one of the more prominent tenants since Suntec mall's opening in the late 1990s, outlasted even Carrefour.

Another one hard done by the escalating rent.
