Unless you are Nizam or his wife, there is no need to fell stressed.

The Flash is about to Fizzle out.

You have the OCBC suit to recover $33k in owed debt. Now you have Citibank chasing him for $60k.

Mr Flash dug himself a big hole and he can't get out.

This mat is going to be bankrupt soon, unless some political party help him clear his debt. How does a former banker end up owning the banks almost $100,000? He is former DPP and former MAS deputy director.

Former AMP director owes $118k in taxes

A former director of the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has failed to get a court order to stop the taxman from coming after him to make good on tax arrears totalling $117,716.

If Mr Mohd Nizam Ismail does not meet the statutory demand to settle his debt, bankruptcy proceedings can be started against him.

But this worry has been allayed for the 46-year-old lawyer and former deputy public prosecutor for now, having reached a settlement with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (Iras).

He said through his lawyer See Chern Yang last night, that the "parties have reached a mutually acceptable arrangement out of court".

Chances is that he contested the claim of tax arrears through his lawyer. The tax dollar plus the lawyer fees is way much cheaper then the arrears from IRAS.

Ordinary folks do not have such resources to do that !

I highlighted the keyword to your question...

But he is making good by fighting for Malay rights now and getting support from the community. Let's see if the community will help him financially to pull him out.

He is one of those fighting hard for the Hijab rights but his own wife,Oniatta Effendi, is not wearing one...

Only brown mofos can drive $500,000 BMW and owe money to IRAS and Banks. Happy New Year Nizam!

maybe if he had queued up at the bank yesterday to deposit money, he would not be in the news today.

AMP is the PAP porlumpar organization for the Malay-Muslim community. When you see someone is a member of it, you know with certainty where his/her loyalty lies.

Also, I doubt they are that daft and oblivious... they knew jolly well what they were getting into when they signed up for AMP membership.

Maybe he is going to join WP soon?

Then again, maybe he just miss paying things in instalments so decided to pay his taxes in that way.
