correct. einstein's theory of relativity is applied in gps atomic clock algorithms to correct time "drift" in orbit. also, a gps receiver at street level in an urban "canyon" environment can also be inaccurate or out of precision timing (less than one microsecond) when the gps signal is reflected multiple times off the flat surfaces of sides of skyscrapers before it reaches the receiver. the very slight delay variation can affect precision - a reason why small cells deep in the city center requires terrestrial timing augmentation using the ieee 1588v2 protocol. as stand alone clocks without constant grandmaster atomic clock correction, rubidium clocks on "float" can drift after 20 days. cesium clocks on "float" can drift after 72 days. oxo clocks will drift after 6 days.
