NUS, RI win MOF budget quiz

THIS year's Budget 2010 focused on the issue of raising productivity.
Students taking part at the Ministry of Finance Budget Quiz finals recently certainly took the message to heart.
Teams from tertiary institutions like National University Of Singapore and Anglo-Chinese Junior College had to perform on-the-spot calculations, debate on economics as well as expound on economic theories.
'The questions were ok but we were more comfortable with theoretical rather than calculative questions. It's stressful to do the calculations up there,' said Joyce Ong of Raffles Institution.
It was a fast and furious competition and in the end, the teams from NUS and RI won their respective categories.

2) In the event of being embarassed by them, they can always use the old "I got more experience" and "I know better" argument to brush it away.

i still rem LKY once said local students are not vocal enough, so he encourage an open forum to be held with him and the students. end up kana shoot by NUS final year history undergrad or post grad cannot recall. next year onwards, similar forum was held, but no more open direct questioning, all the questions has to be vet first read by his dog and and also to let him prepared for ans.
