Drugs Found In Man's Pants At Causeway

Ever heard the story of Aretha Franklin getting caught for carrying drugs? She was found to be carrying 100 pounds of crack in the back of her pants... :p

In competition to Ms Franklin, the passenger of a Malaysian taxi entering Singapore was acting too nervous as he approached the Causeway. The suspicious behaviour caught the attention of switched-on immigration officers on Tuesday afternoon.

Upon a body search, the 49-year-old Singaporean man was found to be carrying 137.5 grams (about 4oz in the 'old drug weights') of contraband drugs tucked into the front of his pants. The 'green substance' was wrapped in cellophane and was identified as cannabis.

No la bro, this guy escape hanging. It was reported he carried with him 100 over grams cannabis. the law here says a mandatory death sentence if its 500gms or more cannabis (ganja). Cheers.
