The Singapore Armed Forces recently ran an ad showing a group of girls discussing one of their numbers' boyfriend, who turned out to be a soldier.
He is described by his other half as always "having time for her" and being a "smart guy".
Does this ad portray soldiers negatively as "trophy boyfriends"?
