If Quack, Quack, was an oppositions or some lesser known mortal...the headline news would be...DESMOND QUEK WAS ASKED TO LEAVE SMRT or better still ' SACKED FROM SMRT". QUACK had stopped his volunteer work with the company & is stepping down, to a younger person, in an effort to renew the management & bring in fresh & new expertise to spur the growth of SMRT. The Management of SMRT would like to thank QUACK for his exemplary VOLUNTEER WORK for the last 5 years that helped SMRT through a very difficult time & would like to wish him bon voyage & wish him well on his future endeavour ...psst! I can write, sing song sound good too. ...ha ha ha ha

Eisenhower, Colin Power, Douglas McArthur, Patton & including Lord Mountbatten, including Tojo & others salaries can never match any one of the Brigadier- General. These are men, that walk the corridors of the theatre of wars & history...while our BG's, how many, have spent time walking the corridors of even the HDB flats?...no comparison!!
