潤泰全今天下午召開重大訊息說明會，宣布關閉楊梅廠，從今年4月26日起歇業，將轉型為控股公司。含本國勞工共303員工，會協助轉介。
潤泰全發言人副總經理李天傑指出，由於棉紡業面對艱困環境，從1995年至今，仍堅守台灣生產，但楊梅廠生產成本高，避免虧損擴大，因此楊梅廠歇業，並改採委託國內外衛星工廠生產，楊梅廠佔營收7.17%，委託衛星工廠，不影響營收。記者室由發言人李天傑副總經理說明董事會重大決議說明。T
潤泰全是南山人壽大股東，過去一年在資產活化等，頗受投資人關注。公司旗下閒置的中壢廠土地共5,500坪，也已經向內政部申請變更為住宅用地，未來有一定的潛在利益。
另外，轉投資的公司部分，目前潤泰全持有南山26.67%，持有潤泰新則有25.7%，其中南山即將興櫃，業績發展頗被看好。
