Only idiots will buy over-priced cars in Sinkieland. At least 75% of the total price goes to the gobber-ment in taxes of one kind or another.

And after you get your car, you have to tolerate inconsiderate Sinkie drivers on the roads, in addition to these you now have FTs who converted their 3rd world licenses into Sinkie ones without proper screening.

Look at these prices for BMWs in Manhattan. Makes all the Sinkies green with jealousy!

Let see.. to put into layman terms .. reduce car ownership >> lower revenue from COE and ERP and parking gantries and parking coupons >> less govt revenue >>Govt coffers empty faster>> Govt look at other means to sustain>> increased other govt revenue streams, interest rates, taxes and fees in other areas to sustain coffer levels >> increased bus and taxi fares/ increase overall taxes/ increase biz taxes/ increase GST>> private sector follows >> your pocket hurts more..

My take.. sell more cars and let the more affluent car owners take up the burden of the non car owners (usually the mid-lower class)

for work permit holder, permanent residence, foreigners, etc.. only allowed to rent or lease, how?
