Have always wondered wtf this is on MRT and shopping center floors. Any body knows?

Awfully expensive to install for a very small group of people.
I think QSD version is valid. When an unassisted blind with cane approaches train platforms or traffic crossings, he could detect the yellow line with his cane that he couldn't see with his eyes. As for cost-to-benefit, that's gov. stats matter.
It makes me quite sad to know that the blind are expected to fend for themselves in the city. Where's the guide dog?
I don't think dogs and other pets are allowed on MRTs or buses.
Ever wonder why your calculator (or hp ) , no. 5 always got one protrude out "dot" ???
