to all the bros that are now inspired to exercise after reading this thread....pls start slow! we are no longer spring chickens. whilst exercising is good, your body takes longer to recover as you get older and especially if you have "nua-ed" for a while. start exercising modestly and increase your intensity slowly, your body will slowly remember and cope but it takes time. Listen to your body and you will be back in shape.

Agree. One common injury is the back and knee. Think also due to bad sitting habits and these are haunting me now. Personally, I think swimming is good as compare to other sports.

Swimming and jogging are best. In no other city have I seen so many public pools and tracks. Climbing staircase is also good. If stay at 4th storey or below, don't take the lift unless you're carrying heavy things. Make use of the overbridge too. Any distance within three bus-stops, take a walk if the weather allows.

yes, the chances of being late due to MRT delays, bus mis-direction and taxi stuck in traffic jams very high nowadays......less than 3 bus-stops faster to walk.
