Blackout hits large parts of Singapore

You fu#$@in dog, the power shouldn't have been disrupted in the first place as backups were supposed to kick in. It was disrupted coz the backups tripped while ramping up.

PAP should be questioned why the 3 companies that provide the backups are all foreign owned (Tuas - Chinks, Senoko - m&d Chinks, Seraya - Frogs and Nips). They would be more concerned about profits rather than to ensure the continued power supply for sinkies. Their Plant/Ops managers and maintenance staff are probably from their home country + the usual CECA fellas. Do you think these guys would be bothered about OUR power supply?

Imagine if the first trip had been in day time and the back up cannot kick in, the whole system would have gone down!!
Another PAP's pride. Lol :D

The foreign firms were closely vetted by PAP. That's why power was restored within 38 minutes. The foreigners showed that they too belong to Singapore.

If they weren't bothered by our power supply, we would still be without power. Just look at Puerto Rico after it got hammered by the hurricanes. It took nearly a year to restore power.

typical rubbish from dogs, nothing else better to say will compare with some fuckin 3rd world place to try to show you that SG is better.

I think if SG is hit by a hurricane, the generators will all be flooded by 5m high waters and it will also take a year for the flood to subside.

we'll never know would we?

Thanks to PAP, Singapore has never once been hit by a hurricane. And we never will, as long as PAP remains in charge. Every child knows this.
