彰化溪湖鎮成功路上午有2隻大型獒犬出現在路邊，追咬2名女騎士，其中一隻獒犬還把騎單車的女子拖下來，兩人被緊急送醫，事發後，2隻咬人的獒犬被動物防疫所人員以吹箭麻醉圍捕抓回，飼主得知消息後，也由女兒緊急出面，哭著跟受傷民眾道歉。

2隻大型獒犬，站在路邊不斷狂吠，清潔隊員拿著大型捕網也不敢靠近。
直到動物防疫所人員抵達，以吹箭麻醉方式誘捕，不過被射中的獒犬，還是分頭逃竄到苗圃區和草叢裡。
防疫所人員 vs.清潔隊員：「在那邊，在那邊，轉過去，轉過去那邊，中箭的在這邊，中箭的在這邊。」
防疫所人員和清潔隊員不敢大意，分頭展開圍捕，但獒犬卻跟他們玩起捉迷藏。
防疫所人員 vs.清潔隊員：「在這邊，在這邊，趕這邊就好，不要讓牠跑掉了。」
直到麻醉藥效發作，2隻獒犬才癱軟倒地，防疫所人員趕緊上前，先以膠帶纏住他們的嘴巴，再抬上防疫所的車輛，送到動物收容所。

溪湖鎮清潔隊隊長 洪漢鐘：「打第1針無效，再來第2針是防疫所沿路這樣追趕打第2針。」
上午11點左右，這2隻獒犬突然出現在溪湖成功路上，先是追咬一名腳踏車的女子，還把她拉下車，接著另一名婦人騎車經過，趕緊停車也被攻擊。
被咬民眾 陳小姐：「牠本來要追前面那台摩托車，可能追不到就咬我。」
被咬民眾 蕭太太：「騎到他家門口，停在那邊，人也沒下來，就咬下去拖下去了。」
被咬傷的兩人受到驚嚇，還好都沒有生命危險，事發後飼主女兒趕到醫院，哭著跟受傷民眾道歉。

飼主女兒 林小姐：「牠們自己跑出去的，狗狗本來就我們家養的，我們沒有要逃避責任的意思，真的很抱歉，對不起。」
飼主家人說，2隻獒犬養了快8、9年，因為曾經攻擊過人，之後都很小心看守，沒想到這次鬆開繩索，想讓狗狗活動一下，結果偷跑出去，還攻擊路人，他們真的很抱歉，不過依照動保法，飼主將會被處3000到15000元罰鍰，犬隻可能被沒入，還要面臨民刑事責任。
