That explains why you are stuck. This has been covered extensively over the years in the folder.
1. All the popular destination countries are by their very nature get millions of applications for job by potential migrants who either don't bother to show up for interviews or don't even show up for the jobs that they have an offer for. The usual answers are that their mother in law sick, parents old, the country origin job still pays better. HR depts in these countries bin the applications and don't bother responding.
Where there is an acute demand for jobs, they go thru specialised HR and Migration consultants to cull the "ask alot of questions but never do anything" lot. Nurses are in high demand and specialised recruitment agencies package the PR and job offers together. Competition is so tough that's they even throw in opening of bank account with debit card with spending money with tax exemption.
Despite this, I know of an aspiring young golfer who spent one 1 month with his nurse wife on a holiday cum job search for this wife. They knocked on hospital HR depts in Sydney and Melbourne. This guy came back and told me that demand for nurses is an illusion. This is the same guy who went all the way to Philipines to find his own maid and the maid ran away. Penny wise, pound foolish.
2. They will respond, if the applicant is onshore, have a local address and local contact number. Singaporeans have a distinct advantage because of the qualifications, the handle of English and their work ethics are pretty well known. Unless you are entering an industry that is saturated, the economy in OZ is booming.
3. Buying new land and building is open to all and not just citizens and PRs. It just shows that you are an investor. Many Singapoans have done that and many are not interested in moving there.
4. Frankly, I don't think you even did any research. I was surprised that you are in possession of PR but unaware of what is going on.
Hi all, thanks for the replies. I would love to be there but at present moment, beem trying to secure a job over there have been friutless, either they reject me or never even respond.
