Hi as the title says.

I am 31M with a stable job but with 4/10 looks which doesn't work in this dating climate. I have tried apps / speed dating events but I haven't been able to connect with anyone. I was even rejected by a single mother that I met (but I am okay with dating or marrying one).

What makes it even more bitter is that even if I am willing to be a financial sponsor in the relationship, I haven't even been ripped off in a romance before. Not asking to be ripped off but that's how bad my dating situation is

At this point, I am worried about alone dying in a flat and just want to date or marry someone for the companionship.

I know some will say to look for a bride marriage agency but when I presented my financials and age to the agency, the matchmaker even advised that I try to date someone local because of cultural differences.

Maybe I am just ranting but I am at my wits end and at a loss.

You (that 31M guy) are much better off living alone then marry the wrong person you dodo bird..... marrying the wrong person might see your whatever assets halved, lifetime of unnecessary liabilities and anguish, possible jail terms, etc..... thanks to WC. It is makes more economical sense to get hookers on a weekly or monthly basis to satisfy the fuck part if that's your main concern.

Silly ah boy. Take your time to find a life partner. In the meantime, enjoy life and enjoy your freedom. Go out and see the world, work overseas for a few years.

If there's really no one suitable, there's nothing wrong with being single and happy and free.

Marriage and children isn't for everyone and doesn't guarantee you won't grow old alone and won't die alone. Divorce, children abandoning their parents, family financial distress only happen to married people.

As a single, you never have to worry about the mortgage and little mouths to feed because you lost your job (and which you hated anyway because of the toxic culture and long hours but which you couldn't afford to resign from either).

Sex needs? Licenced brothels will take care of it.

If you really want to settle down so badly, there will always be female versions of you out there who are also 4/10 in looks who are as desperate as you to settle down and start a family. They are all out there looking for you too.

Boy ah boy, marriage and having kids isn't for everyone and is never a guarantee for happiness
