I read and watched documentaries detailing horror stories about the condition of car sharing vehicles. Hirers are selfish by nature since they don't own these cars. Drivers taking over such cars shared about wiping the steering wheel, dashboard and seats using light coloured cloth that turned black. Litter such as wrappers, paper, crumbs, food waste as well as sand, m&d and pet fur are routinely left behind by previous hirers/passengers.
