my li'l brother leetahsar is pestering me to join him in christmas carolling. yep! singing through the night yuletide songs. was immensely surprised that he was doing it for the past couple of years. one of the attraction for the carolling wasn't really the singing itself. rather it was the spread of x'mas goodies being laid out for the carollers after they had sung in some christian folks' homes. then there were gifts too.
LTS in his usual goofy goondu manner attended singing practices prior to the actual carolling. during those practices, there was only a handful of committed carollers. however on the actual night of carolling, so many turned up to "sing". that had also indirectly solved the mystery of why the sudden gush of turn outs. they were there for the freebies than for the carolling. worst of all, most came fully equipped with tupperwares to ta pao back the generous food spreads.
gosh! no way am i joining LTS for carolling.
Tis the season to be giving and not taking.
poor LTS! singing his heart out and still got bullied by the church administrator who treated him like a free filipino maid carrying heavy hampers :(
anyone here participate in x'mas carol? care to share?
